Course for Operating Theatre Staff "Modern Cementing Technique"

You will 

• get to know the constituents, function and properties of PMMA bone cement
• learn about the dis-/advantages of different mixing techniques and try them out yourself
• find out about Modern Cementing Technique and the state of the art in knee and hip arthroplasty
• get familiar with infection management in primary and revision surgery and the role of antibiotic-loaded bone cement
• get introduced to studies and register data
• get a fine grasp on bone cement during the hands-on mixing and cementing workshop
