The newly introduced brand comprises two product families: heracure one and heracure 3D, expanding the Heraeus Medical product portfolio with resorbable biomaterials for use in regenerative orthopedics.
Both products are innovative calcium phosphate-based biomaterials for bone regeneration, which can be applied or filled into existing non-infected and non-load-bearing bone defects. They are fully MDR certified and now available across many countries in Europe. A further global roll-out will follow soon.
The products are developed and manufactured by INNOTERE GmbH, based in Radebeul, Germany, which has been acquired by Heraeus Medical in 2025 (read news).
heracure one:
- synthetic, self-setting and bioresorbable bone substitute material
- ready-to-use, prefilled paste in an application syringe
heracure 3D:
- synthetic, porous and bioresorbable bone substitute material
- scaffolds of various shapes and sizes, based on the heracure one paste and produced through a patented 3D printing process
